Roll your wrinkles away!  Dermaroll your way to smoother, healthier skin!

Looking for an inexpensive way to give your face a youthful boost? Lessen the appearance of wrinkles? Help alleviate acne scars? All done in the comfort of your own home and with no downtime.  It’s called Dermarolling!

What is it? Dermarolling, or microneedling, is a skin care process which uses a roller with hundreds of tiny titanium micro-needles on your face or body.  Wait, don’t stop reading yet, there’s more to it!  Puncturing your skin (lightly) stimulates your natural skin repair and cell regeneration.  Consistent use over time lessens the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, remove discoloration and acne scars, and creates the appearance of plumper, firmer skin. This is a procedure you can get done at your dermatologist for approximately $250, or you can do it yourself at home for about $30!

Why do it? If you are looking for a new way to enhance the look, feel and texture of your skin , want to soften troublesome wrinkles or discoloration, dermarolling may be for you.  The procedure tricks your skin into thinking it is experiencing trauma, then signals your own collagen to rush to the surface to repair your skin.  Collagen, which is the body’s most abundant protein, is what gives our skin strength, elasticity, and replaces dead skin cells.  The secret to removing or repairing imperfections is to rebuild the collagen beneath your skin.  Dermarolling exfoliates the skin and increases blood flow to your face,  helping your face look shinier, healthier and rejuvenated. Another great benefit to dermarolling it opens your skill allowing greater absorption of your favorite hyaluronic acidvitamin C serum or other skin care products.

Needles on my face!  Isn’t it painful? The first time you do it, it is a little surprising and a bit uncomfortable. However, the needles are so tiny, that the puncture is micro, practically unnoticeable.  There are different needle lengths to choose from,  anywhere from .02mm to 1.0 mm.  Anything over 1.5mm is too long and harsh for delicate facial skin.

Doing the technique correctly and apply the amount of pressure that is comfortable for you. Here's a video that shows an easy technique to follow (click here).

How often to use a dermaroller?  For best effect, using the dermaroller 3 to 5 times a week, doing it properly and following directions is even more important!  Start by thoroughly cleansing the skin.  Follow this instructional video for even better results!

If you’re ready to give your face a bit of a lift, increase blood flow and collagen repair, give dermarolling a try.  The results can be smoother, healthier rejuvenated skin!
